The chief minister of Tamil Nadu MK Stalin and have announced gift hampers of Rs.1088 crore for the family cardholders along with the Lankan Tamil songs that are residing in the rehabilitation camps for the upcoming festival of Pongal in the month of January 2023.

Each gift hamper has included Rs. 2500 in cash, 1 KG of uncooked rice along with sugar, a 5-foot long sugar cane, cashews, and raisins that will be 20 g each and 5 g of cardamom.
The state government has set aside Rs. 5604.84 Crores rupees for the implementation of Rs. 2500 along with the gift hampers for all the rice cardholders.
