There is good news for the students of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) that the university has started the IGNOU 35th Convocation Registration program for the year 2022.

In this convocation, the students who have completed their degree program in the year December 2020 and June 2021 are eligible to take part in the award of their original certificates.

The mode of convocation will be done virtually or in conventional mode depending upon the above Covid pandemic situation and it is likely to be held within the month of March or April 2022.

IGNOU 35th Convocation Term and Condition

• The students have to attend the convocation and must have to collect the certificate at his / her regional Centre where they belongs to or have submitted their assignments during the examinations. The student cannot go to any other regional Centre.
• The students will also be provided with an option i.e., “To attend the convocation in person or to receive degree / diploma by post.”
• The students have to provide their present address in which they want to receive their Degree/Diploma/Certificate.
• In case, if the convocation is not held in the regional centre of the student due to any of the circumstances, then he or she shall have to attend the convocation in the nearby other regional centre which maybe in the same or in the nearby state.
• If the student may not be able to attend the convocation, his or her Degree/Diploma/Certificate Will be sent to their address through post in which an intimation in this regard will be issued to them later on.
• In case, if the students are not invited to attend the convocation or could not attend the convocation due to any reason even after the submission of the requisite fees, the certificates of their degree/diploma programmes will be sent through post by the concerned regional centre after the convocation. The above students should contact in their regional centres from where they belongs to.

IGNOU Convocation 2022 Application Fees

• The students have to go to the official website of IGNOU.
• All the eligible students are required to register themselves for obtaining the degree or diploma certificates. The students have to pay requisite fees through online mode.
• The details on the fees are given below :-

• Ph.D./ M.Phil./ Master’s Degree/Bachelor’s Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Under Graduate Diploma Programmes = Rs. 600/-
• PG Certificate/ Certificate programmes = Rs. 200/-
• The IGNOU 35th Convocation Registration fees can be paid through the online mode with the help of any of the Debit Card, Credit Card (Master/Rupay/Visa) of any bank or through the Net Banking.
• In the convocation venue, the students will be given with a convocation scarf for which they have to pay a small amount of money as a security deposit.
• The above security deposit for the scarf will be refunded to the student when they return the convocation scarf after the function is over.
• The students have to keep a copy of the acknowledgement slip for further use. If the students did not receive any acknowledgement, they may wait for 48 hours.
